The Base Logo

Located on Main Street, Ballymoney, this is a project for people with learning disabilities in the Ballymoney area, developed with Northern Health & Social Care Trust’s Day Opportunities Programme.

The Base provides opportunities to meet and develop friendships and provides support and connections to participate in community-based leisure activities – such as:

Shopping Trips;
10-pin bowling;
Cycling Outings;
Cinema Outings;
Computer Access and Training;
Arts and Crafts, etc.

Members suggest ideas and activities - and engage in fund-raising activities to support these. See the news section for upcoming events and activities.
